Yes, Eucalan is safe for lingerie.

Yes, it is safe and non-toxic. However, a child should not be using this product without adult supervision.
- Is Eucalan safe for HE machines?
Eucalan is safe for HE machines. Eucalan
is low sudsing and has been since we introduced it to the North
American market over 21 years ago. When we run our next set of bottle
labels, the HE logo will be added.
- Is it safe to use Eucalan on pets?
Eucalan is fantastic for bathing dogs and other animals. Fleas do not like Eucalan!
- Will it harm my skin?
Eucalan
will not harm the skin (unless the user is highly allergic to
eucalyptus, lavender, grapefruit or lanolin). We've had reports of
people having softer hands after doing hand-laundry with Eucalan.
- What is the shelf-life of the Eucalan products?
Eucalan has a shelf life of at least 5 years depending upon how it is stored.
- How can I avoid having the colours run?
IMPORTANT - Check that the colours are colorfast and then follow the general washing instructions. Then dry on rack or hang to allow air circulation to avoid wicking.
- How to tell if something is colourfast?
Moisten
a clean, white cloth (100% cotton or other natural fibre). Press
firmly on coloured area in an inconspicuous place. If colour is not
"fast" it will transfer to cloth, so wash at own risk or have dry
cleaned. Dark colours are prone to bleed into light colours such as
black, navy, dark green, burgundy, and red.
- Why does Eucalan recommend no rinsing?
Convenience,
saves time and water. Eucalan is low-sudsing. With wool less handling
while wet helps avoid matting and shrinking. No rinsing insures some
eucalyptus or lavender (to inhibit moths) will stay in the fabric.
- What will happen if I do rinse?
For
wool - Rinsing is okay if done carefully but we suggest you add a few
drops of Eucalan to the rinse water to achieve the benefit of the
essential oil and the lanolin. All other fabrics may be rinsed; rinse
until the water runs clear. Eucalan is a low-sudsing agent and requires
less rinsing.

Eucalyptus Scent
Eucalan’s Eucalyptus No Rinse Delicate Wash is our original scent.
First introduced in 1989, it is scented using essential oil of
eucalyptus. Eucalyptus oil is a natural moth and flea inhibitor, so use
Eucalan Eucalyptus regularly on woolens and particularly before storing
them for the season. The lanolin enriched formula helps to naturally
condition fibres and keep static away. Use on all your delicates like
sweaters, lingerie, hosiery, comforters, down jackets, bathing suits and
baby items. An excellent choice for men.

Grapefruit Scent
Eucalan’s Grapefruit No Rinse Delicate Wash is scented using
essential oil of grapefruit. Grapefruit oil is a natural antiseptic
which is particularly nice when washing garments that lie close to the
skin like hosiery, workout wear, bathing suits and lingerie. The
lanolin enriched formula helps to naturally condition fibres and keep
static away. Use on all your delicates and enjoy the fresh light scent.

Lavender Scent
Eucalan’s Lavender No Rinse Delicate Wash is scented using essential
oil of lavender. Known for its natural moth and flea inhibiting and
antiseptic properties, this is a great wash for all of your fibres. The
lanolin enriched formula helps to naturally condition fibres and keep
static away. Lavender’s soothing spa-like scent has been described as
an aromatherapy treat for the user and is ideal for baby items like
blankets, stuffed animals, clothing and wool diaper covers. Our most
versatile scent, use it on all your delicates like sweaters, lingerie,
hosiery, comforters, down jackets, bathing suits.

Natural Scent
Eucalan’s Natural No Rinse Delicate Wash is the same great formula,
but no scent has been added to it. It is Eucalan, bare and naked, as we
have not added any chemicals to take away the natural scent of the
product. The lanolin enriched formula helps to condition fibres and
keep static away. For those scent sensitive people, use Eucalan Natural
on all your delicates like sweaters, lingerie, and hosiery, comforters,
down jackets, bathing suits and baby items.
